Usage Steps:
1. Cleaning: Wipe the surface of the headlight with a clean cloth.
2. Masking: Use tape to isolate and limit the area to prevent coating damage.
3. Manual Sanding: Use wet sandpaper during the manual sanding process. It is recommended to change the motion direction when replacing the sandpaper. For example, if sanding horizontally with P180, the next sandpaper (P240) should be used vertically. Be cautious during sanding to avoid damaging the edges of the headlight. After the sanding process, use a tissue to dry any moisture on the headlight’s surface. The surface should appear uniformly smooth, white, and free from sanding marks.
4. Surface Treatment: After completing the sanding process, surface treatment must be carried out using a spray system for a perfect result.
• Pour 60ml to 80ml of the repair solution into the vaporizing cup. It is acceptable to pour more than the required amount, as any excess liquid can be stored for future use. It is crucial to ensure the appropriate initial dosage to complete the entire process at once.
• Connect the cup to the power supply and wait for approximately three minutes until steam appears. Hold the cup’s handle with your right hand and evenly and slowly move the cup’s outlet about 1cm away from the headlight’s surface. The steam action will make the headlight surface shine. If there are deeper scratches, allow the steam to act in that area for a bit longer.
• After completing the repair, immediately turn off the power. Wait for two minutes, then open the lid and pour any remaining liquid back into the bottle.
Frequently Asked Questions:
• Device not working: Do not turn on the power when the device is not in use, and do not keep it connected for more than 5 minutes, as overheating may damage the device.
• Liquid dripping on headlights: The repair liquid used for headlights is highly volatile and turns into a gas when heated. Condensation occurs on the outlet tube’s inner wall, and dripping may occur upon contact with condensed liquid (similar to water). To prevent this, avoid inverting the gas tube. If any drips occur, repeat all surface treatment steps in the affected area.
• Unsatisfactory repair results: To achieve successful results, do not overlook the sanding process. Uniform sanding throughout the entire headlight area is a necessary condition for successful restoration.
• Inadequate steam effect: Do not use the product in windy conditions. When performing the surface vaporization of the headlights, maintain a constant speed and even movement.
